Alan's trip to Boise March 30-31st

Really wanted to go to Boise with Alan to see him play.  Then to top it all off, he was going to play where I went to school.  I was sad I couldn't be there, but my parents were able to come as well as Mikey and my old athletic director.  He did really well and it was great for the family to see him.

Jennifer tournament March 31st

We went to watch Jennifer play at the University of Utah.  David's parent are still her and Gloria joined us in the Adventure.  BYU Played southern Idaho, Weber and Utah. Won all games in two. Jennifer and the team are playing well. Jennifer is worried about getting her rhythm back in VB and school, but otherwise happy.  She   doesn't think she is at the top of her game, but it is spring ball and she is doing great.  It is always fun to watch her play.  She really does amaze me on how fast she improves.

Timothy April 2012

Timothy update
Still having ups and downs, but overall doing well. Sleeping better at night.

It has been a month now. It was a big surgery and still painful. It is normal to be on drugs for a normal pectus surgery 1 month or longer, so it might be awhile for him. He is making progress, but somedays it seems slow. He is sleeping longer at night and I think that is helping him heal. His bar is slipping and the doctors are keeping an eye on it and we are praying that it doesn't get worse. It will be a long recovery and I think the more normal things he does the better. It is frustrating for all of us at times, but he is making good progress.

It has been six weeks now.  I think we are finally making some progress with the pain.  He has gone to a few classes at school, going to church and swimming some and today we went on a bike ride.  We still like to have someone with him, because he is on drugs, but doing more things is making him very happy.  It has been a good day.  He is also sleeping 6-8 hrs and not in terrible pain when he wakes.  Great progress and hoping it continues to get better.  We are very thankful for the family and friends that have supported us through this hard time.  It is great to be loved and we can really feel the help from your prayers in our behalf.

Great Kids Award April 25th 2012

Sara was one of the two students chosen from Oak Canyon. We are very proud of Sara and the beautiful young lady she is becoming inside and out. She was telling me about friendshiping a girl that was a little different, but now some of her other friends don't want to be with her when she is with this girl.  These are hard things in junior high, but I was very happy that she is trying to be kind to everyone.  I have always taught her to put herself in their shoes and treat them how you would want to be treated.

It was a nice evening. Jennifer was nominated for Crowd Pleaser. We thought she should of won, but she was ok and glad she didn't have to go up and say anything. Her Basketball team won the team of the year award. Jennifer looks lovely as always. It is always great when her daddy gets to show her off. She is a beautiful girl inside and out.
